November is Native American Heritage Month! In the latest issue of NIMHD Insights, George K. Koob, Ph.D., director at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) says supporting research to better understand and address alcohol-related health disparities is one of their top priorities.

Dr. Koob shares how NIAAA-supported research shows the importance of community-based interventions in preventing underage drinking among American Indian and Alaska Native youth.
