Esther's Cajun Soul Scholarship
Criteria and eligibility (Esther's Cajun Soul Scholarship applicants)
This scholarship program is sponsored by Esther's Scholarship Foundation, LLC to assist individuals who are at the following schools Booker T. Washington, Yates, Wheatley, Worthing, Barbara Jordan, Kashmere, North Forest, Westbury, Madison, Sterling & North Shore High School. Esther's restaurants will giveaway 5 $1000.00 scholarships to 5 students to assist them with continuing their education at a college,university, or vocational-technical school. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin.
1. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in the year of the award.
2. Applicant must demonstrate community involvement, improvement in academics, any lifetime hardships and desires to attend college.
3. Applicant must have a desired college major and/or minor.
4. Two (2) letters of recommendations from choice of high school teachers, administrators, counselors, employers, or individual with significant knowledge of applicant’s experience and involvement.
5. An official or unofficial recent high school transcript with a cumulative grade point average and a class standing/rank.
6. Send all documents to our email estherscajun@yahoo.com in a zip file.
