City of Houston and Anosh, Inc. Foundation will Distribute Turkeys for the Holidays WHAT: As the holidays approach, Mayor Sylvester Turner and the Anosh Inc. Foundation have partnered to distribute Thanksgiving turkeys to families needing assistance. Three days before Thanksgiving, volunteers will distribute 420 turkeys, and each giveaway package includes a full holiday dinner, including a roasted turkey, corn, cranberry sauce, green beans, macaroni, mashed potatoes, and gravy. The event is supported by Houston City Council Members Abbie Kamin (District C) and Mary Nan Huffman (District G), along with the Mayor's Office of Complete Communities and the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities.
