Good afternoon!
Below is information
about our upcoming FreshStart program. Please pass along if you know or have
any kids in grades 6-12 who would be interested in participating. Also if you
are interested in attending and/or volunteering, you are more than welcome!
FreshStart, a NSBE Houston Professionals' signature event, is a
half day of interactive workshops for students in grades 6-12 that
covers a variety of STEM disciplines and fields. It is designed to motivate
students to set academic goals in STEM and provides NSBE Professionals an
opportunity to give back and be role models!
The students will conduct STEM related experiments and case
studies, hear from and interact with working STEM professionals, as well as
receive paid entry (students only) into the Children's Museum. Breakfast and
lunch will be provided.
