The City of Houston is seeking input from residents on a variety of topics concerning the Bayou City's future.

These Community Conversations will help the City better identify a common vision and what matters most when developing the Arts and Cultural Plan.

ABOUT THE PLAN

 The Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs is leading the development of the Arts and Cultural Plan. The City of Houston has many programs, practices and regulations to advance arts and cultural activities. With this Plan, the City aims to create a common vision, goals and coordinated implementation strategies as a practical guide for the City's resources and activities and to identify how the City can best assist efforts by City departments, outside agencies and regional partners.

By aligning arts and cultural priorities with Houston's identity and sense of place, the City can best leverage its cultural assets to enhance everyday life throughout the city and further the development and economic impact of Houston as a world art center and cultural destination of choice for current and future residents and visitors.

Want to make your mark on Houston's future? We need your input! The City wants to make sure that issues important to all Houstonians are reflected in the Arts and Cultural Plan.
