This is a reminder
that the Emancipation Economic Development Council will meet tonight at 6pm at
Project Row Houses, 2521 Holman, 77004.
This meeting will be dedicated to a community discussion of the "State of
Health in Third Ward." The goal will be to develop a set of priorities for
improving the quality of life for residents of Third Ward, with a particular
focus on understanding how housing, employment, business development and access
to services impacts the physical and mental well-being of our community.
We would also like to remind everyone that the Planning Commission’s public
hearing on renaming Dowling Street to Emancipation Avenue will take place this
Thursday, October 13th beginning at 2:30pm at the City Hall Annex, 900 Bagby.
