DESCRIPTION
We are inviting *African American
Male Community College Transfer students that seek to enroll at the University
of Houston-Downtown for Spring 2017 to this recruitment event October 21, 2016.
The goal of this resource fair is to familiarize
incoming minority male students with the college admissions process, to allow
for more individual engagement with campus resources, including financial aid,
academic advisors, student life and also to connect with current students,
administration and alumni.
At the University of Houston-Downtown we
recognize that the enrollment and retention for men of color is well
below the average and we are increasing our
efforts in collaborating with our feeder schools in order to support our
incoming African American male students.
