TX 77051 on Sept. 29 at 5:30 PM.
Lt.
Kevin Malonson of Texas Parks & Wildlife, Craig Johnson (Post Committee
Chairman), and Donald Flenoy (Post Advisor) will describe the Exploring
Program and answer any questions you may have.
What is Exploring?
Exploring
is a unique career exploration program for young men and women ages 14-20. It
provides students with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of career
fields and network with professionals already working in those fields.
Exploring Post members get hands-on experience to determine whether or not a
particular career field is right for him or her. Members develop valuable
networking contacts with professionals working in their selected career
fields, and get to know other teenagers and young adults sharing your same
interests and aspirations. Exploring can be the first step in identifying
career possibilities while having fun in an exciting and informal
environment.
Law
Enforcement Exploring is a career orientation and experience program for
young people contemplating a career in the field of criminal justice.
Exploring Post 1329 will offer young adults a personal awareness of the
criminal justice system through training, practical experiences and other
activities. However, Exploring Post 1329 members will also be exposed to
several career fields.
