Home Repair Services
The Harris County Home Repair Program provides minor and major home repair for seniors and the disabled. Home Repair may include roof repair/replacement, handicap accessibility improvements, mechanical, electrical, weatherization and plumbing. Properties must be located within the unincorporated area of Harris County, including Deer Park, Galena Park, Humble, Jacinto City, Katy, La Porte, Morgan’s Point, Seabrook, Shoreacres, South Houston, Tomball and Webster. To be eligible, you must be 62 years or older, or have someone with a documented disability in the home at the time of application and you must meet income requirements. For septic or water wells, homeowners may receive up to $40,000 to repair and/or replace their system (there is no age limit but you must meet all other requirements).
