About Hire Houston Youth Hire Houston Youth (HHY) is the City of Houston’s collective youth workforce program that brings together dozens of unique partners from throughout Houston. Youth, ages 16-24, will be offered seven-week jobs or internships at either the City of Houston or in Houston’s non-profit and private sectors.
