Donna -    Calling all young tech aficionados! Join us and the STEAM on Demand team at the Ion this Saturday, March 25, beginning at 10 am to learn the basics of robotics and build your own dancing robot at our Ion Family STEAM Day!   During this hands-on learning experience, attendees will learn about tech and robotics and gain insight into the professional skills and concepts needed to excel in a robotics or tech career. Participating children will learn what a robot is and about the fuel that moves it: electricity! They’ll learn how an electrical circuit uses electricity to power a robot, as well as the three essential parts of constructing a complete circuit. Additionally, we'll discuss the ins and outs of circuits, motors, and electricity while building their very own dancing robot with the STEAM on Demand platform. Agenda 10:00 am - 10:15 am | Welcome to the Ion and family tech event 10:15 am- 12:15 pm | Build a Dancing Robot (9 -14 yrs + parents) workshop and levitation workshop (2-5 yrs + parents) with STEAM On Demand  12:15 pm - 1:00 pm | Lunch will be provided The main workshop event will be tailored for 9-14-year-old children.
