Our 2016 Transition Job
Fair highlights the talents and skills of those ages 16-24.
We believe the future is
now! Work experiences are a critical component of preparing youth for
transition to adulthood. Young adults attending this event are work ready
and will meet employers recruiting to fill summer job opportunities, regular
full-time, part-time, entry-level positions, and internships.
Our goal of the job fair
is to ensure that:
We provide first time
work experiences to transition age high school students with disabilities.
To provide work ready
young adults not enrolling in post-secondary education the opportunity to seek
long term permanent employment opportunities that will yield a
living wage.
