Local non-profits and
organizations interested in joining the recovery effort should call the City
of Houston Housing and Community Development Department at 832-394-6282
for more information.
There is an informational
planning meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April
20th at 3 p.m. at Harvest Time Church at 17770 Imperial Valley Dr. in the Greenspoint area. Another meeting will be
held in the Meyerland/Braeswood area. That location will be announced
shortly.
The
American Red Cross is currently operating 6 shelters in the local area:
- M.O. Campbell Center
- Jersey Village Baptist Church
- Willow Meadows Baptist Church
- Chinese Community Center
- Acres Homes Multi-Service Center
- St. John’s Methodist Church

The Mayor’s office is providing up to date reports
