The Department of Neighborhoods is pleased to share about Neighborhood Updates, a new telephone messaging service that will be officially launched very soon. It’s an easy way for people to stay informed by phone without having to go online, especially for seniors and other residents who don’t own smart phones and computers for access to the internet. As the city responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, our messages will include important information about testing, stay safe health practices, and recovery resources.
We are asking for your help in spreading this information to the community and enroll senior congregants into this program. To subscribe to Neighborhood Updates, call 3-1-1 and ask to be enrolled. Participants can sign up to receive voice and text messages in English or Spanish about city services and resources.
