Fort Bend Scholarships

Dear Fort Bend Houston HOA's, Civic Clubs, Religious Institutions, Schools and Community Board Members:

The FBHSNC will be giving senior high school students who reside in FBHSNC scholarships for the year 2020. It is our intent to encourage and offer support to deserving students who desire to further their education through college or vocationally. The details of the scholarship are listed below:

Eligibility requirements needed to apply for the scholarship:

Proof of residence in the FBHSNC-41.(Student can attend school outside FBHSNC-41.)
Official sealed transcript must be included with application.
Two (2) written recommendations from their Principal, Counselor or Teacher. One letter from community organization, church or Boys or Girls Scouts of America.
GPA Required: Minimum 2.5.
Typed 200-word essay explaining what you have done or how you would enhance our community, civic engagements in the future; and explain why you feel that you are a deserving scholarship recipient.
Letter of acceptance from College or Vocational School.
FBHSNC-41 may use photograph (s) and testimonies to raise additional scholarships and operational funds for the FBHSN.

Parental Consent /Legal Guardian must be signed and returned with application to be eligible.

Parental/Legal Guardian consent photograph(s) may be used by FBHSN for fundraising activities and related activities for the purpose of fundraising and advertisement of Fort Bend Houston Super Neighborhood Council- 41.
