MAYOR SYLVESTER TURNER’S FAMILY DAY IN THE PARK FOOD DISTRIBUTION - APRIL 17TH 10 AM - 2 PM

From Efamily member Janice Weaver --  Greetings Team Turner, hope this email finds you and your family safe and well. Due to Covid-19 we miss last year's Family Day in The Park and the Mayor did not want to let another year go by without serving those in the community.  Unfortunately, we will not gather in the park, however we will have a distribute food to individuals in their cars.  The menu will be the same menu yes (turkey legs, sausage on the stick the whole nine yards). Of course, this event is not successful without your volunteer efforts.  We will be serving 3,500 cars (until all gone) and will need individuals to work with the caterer and individuals that will be placing the items in the cars. Of course, we will adhere to CDC guidelines social distancing, wearing mask and lots of sanitizer.
