NASA Teams Up with USA Science and Engineering Festival to Inspire the Next Generation at “SciFest”

 

Step into the future and enjoy a cybernetic experience with NASA at SciFest. This virtual USA Science and Engineering Festival runs from Saturday, Sept. 26 – Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020.

 

There’s something for everyone, and registration is free. SciFest will feature STEM-themed content with 100+ activities for students K-12, college students, job seekers, educators and families. Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator for Science will welcome guests to the NASA Hall. Chief Scientist Dr. James “Jim” Green and Astronaut Mike Barratt are featured speakers at the STEM Stage, along with additional NASA presentations covering a wide range of topics. NASA booths will highlight the themes of Artemis Human Exploration, Artemis Science, Artemis Tech, Humans in Space, Solar System and Beyond, Flight, Earth, History, and STEM Engagement.

 

NASA will also participate in the virtual College Career Hall to highlight NASA internship opportunities. NASA STEM content and activities will be made available to download through the booths, and as part of a virtual student backpack and teacher resource download area during the event. Schools are registering classes for the event as part of their virtual fall curriculum. SciFest extends an invitation to the NASA family to participate in this weeklong event.
