Prairie View A&M is offering a full welding program (2 month class) at no cost. The class started on Monday. Unfortunately all of the students enrolled did not show up, so they have open spots to fill by next Monday. This is a pilot program. They are doing their best to have a full class. It runs Monday thru Thursday from 9am to 4pm. It's completely FREE.
Welding gear is provided. They are also attempting to help with job placement after completion of the program. The main requirement is to be at least 18 years old.
