Denise Bates Recommends Films never before seen in the US - Houston Cinema Arts Festival

After November 3rd, you may want to take a break from the eerily normal and set your sites on some fantastic showings into worlds you haven’t seen lately; or not at all. The   is coming up and will feature new break-out films; and some that have never shown inside the country. One that caught my eye was EYIMOFE (This is My Desire) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tw9NlHbi6rI

#UrbanaHCAF2020

Here is another short post:

Two Nigerians in Lagos try to better the lives of their families.

#UrbanaHCAF2020 (Nov.12 – 22) is virtual this year, but there will be film viewing at several drive-ins. The films are online-accessible and Roku-ready for household viewing, patio viewing and other places you would want to partake in social-distance style!
