Mayor Turner to Announce Early Voting Challenge for Area Universities WHAT: As the first day of early voting begins, Mayor Sylvester Turner will encourage young people to participate in the 2020 election. The mayor will join students at two college campus events and announce the Mayor's Early Vote College Challenge to inspire University of Houston, Texas Southern University and Rice University students to vote early.
