Neighborhood GRANTS $500-$5000 and more District D NEWS!!!

Hello Neighbor,
This month we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and the contributions our Latino/Hispanic brothers and sisters have made to our society. Also this month, we've kicked off voter registration events in District D as well as in the Greater Houston area. Though many of us may have different political beliefs, it is important that everyone exercise their constitutional right to vote in the upcoming presidential election in November.

As always, I encourage residents of District D and all Houstonians to get tested and take advantage of the new mega testing locations that recently opened around the city. Continue to remain optimistic as we fight this pandemic. Wishing all of you great health, safety, and happiness. We are Houston strong and in this together.

In the spirit of service,
Dr. Carolyn Evans-Shabazz, Council Member, District D
